Position: State Program Coordinator
Location: Ilorin, Kwara State
Overview of Functions:
SHEAD Centre Kwara is seeking a proactive and skilled State Program Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of community-based health and development projects. The ideal candidate should have experience working on donor-funded programs, especially in TB/HIV, Hepatitis, or community mobilization initiatives.
Key Responsibilitie
Required Skills and Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of community-based health programming, preferably TB/HIV or Hepatitis projects.
• Ability to coordinate field teams and work with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic data reporting tools (Kobo, ODK, or similar).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills.
• Strong problem solving and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a hybrid work setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
• A university degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Community Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in an NGO environment or coordinating community health programs.
• Experience supporting Global Fund TB/HIV projects or similar donor-funded health initiatives is an added advantage.
