Founded in 2006 in Osogbo, Osun State, SHEAD Centre began as a national, non-governmental, and non-profit organization, and its Head Office is currently situated in Ikire, Osun State, Nigeria.
SHEAD Centre is registered with both the Osun State Government and the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria, operating branch offices in Borno, Delta, Kwara, Kogi, Kaduna, Niger, and Oyo States. With its recent registration as SHEAD Centre Incorporation in the United States, the organization is poised to amplify its impact on a global scale.
Recognized internationally, SHEAD Centre is a United Nations General Assembly-recognized entity for its relentless dedication to eradicating the burden of disease. As a proud member of the World Hepatitis Alliance and a committed participant in the WHO Civil Society Commission, SHEAD Centre serves as a driving force in transformative healthcare advocacy and intervention worldwide.
