First Quarter, 2024 State Review Meeting of Kwara State Tuberculosis Leprosy and Buruli Ulcer Control Programme (KWSTBLCP) attended by SHEAD team represented by Iyanuoluwa Ayinde and Olamide Daniel. The meeting was graced with the presence of the Hon Commissioner for Health, Dr Amina Ahmed El-Imam and Director of Public Health Dr Oluwatosin Fakayode. The Hon Commissioner commended the great effort of the State Program Manager Fatima Omowumi Lawal-lah.,ARFH Nigeria SHEAD CENTRE – INC and other stakeholders in ensuring #Tuberculosis is eradicated in the State. She equally encouraged all the TBLS not to relent in their quest to eliminate #TB, #Leprosy #buruliulcer in their various LGA. She there after presented certificates of award of achievements to TBLS of Ilorin West LGA Hajia Afusat Akanbi as the overall best LGA in the Q1 of 2024 and also to Isin LGA, Mr John Adebayo as the most improved LGA in the 1st quarter.
