We are a national, non-governmental, non-profit founded in 2006 in Osogbo, Osun State and now have her Head Office in Ikire, Osun State. We are registered with both Osun State Government and Corporate Affairs Commission with her branch offices in Borno, Delta, Kwara, Kogi, Kaduna, Niger and Oyo State. Recently, SHEAD Centre has just registered in one of the States in United States of America as SHEAD CENTRE INCORPORATION and she is expanding her global reach.

As an esteemed member of the World Hepatitis Alliance and a dedicated participant in the WHO Civil Society Commission, we navigate the frontiers of healthcare advocacy and intervention with unparalleled dedication.
As a formidable institution, the SHEAD Centre has positioned herself as a leading contributor to the enhancement of public health outcomes at the community, Local Government Areas, State and National levels. This is achieved through the incorporation of a community need based, patient centred and change oriented strategies in the project design, implementation and evaluation.
This strategy has effectively resulted in the projects being embraced and maintained by the community, empowering its members to spearhead local development initiatives, act as catalysts for positive change. The ultimate outcome of these efforts is the enhanced health status of project beneficiaries, particularly marginalized and vulnerable populations such as women and children.

Moreover, SHEAD Centre recognizes the significance of partnerships in fulfilling the organization’s objectives. Accordingly, the SHEAD Centre has cultivated strong relationships with various relevant stakeholders to uphold this commitment. Among these entities are the Health Alive Foundation, State Ministry/Department of Health (SMOH), State Ministry of Environment and Sanitation, State Ministry of Education, State Agency for the Control of AIDS (SACA), Local Agency for the Control of AIDS (LACA), Roll Back Malaria (RBM) Unit, Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Programme (at the National, State, and Local Government Levels). Notably essential within this collaborative network are the communities and individuals we assist.
SHEAD also recognizes that the workforce is the most valuable asset of any organization. Hence, the organization has a staff mix of competent health and non-health professionals, consultants and pool of volunteers that can successfully implement quality projects that are in line with the organization’s vision.
