Today is World Literacy Day! World Literacy Day is celebrated on September 8. The theme for this year’s World Literacy is “Transforming Literacy Learning Spaces.” According to UNESCO, this theme will serve as an opportunity to rethink the fundamental importance of literacy and learning spaces to build resilience and ensure quality, equitable, and inclusive education for all.
We at Shead Center Nigeria join the world to commemorate World Literacy Day and will continue to raise awareness about the value of Education as a matter of human rights and dignity.
